Lightpost-Riverpark, Laurel-DeRose, Laurel-Honda (Walnut Grove Drive Extension), Monterey-KB Home Projects (File Nos. GPA-14-05/EA-14-05/GPA-13-02/ZA-13-09/EA-13-11/GPA-14-01/EA-14-01/GPA-14-03)

The proposed changes in land use designation are located on four sites in the City of Morgan Hill:
  • Lightpost-Riverpark (GPA-14-05) is a 3.39-acre vacant parcel located at the southeast corner of Lightpost Way and Madrone Parkway. (APN 726-33-026). Existing General Plan Designation: Industrial/Proposed General Plan Designation: Commercial. Existing Zoning Designation: ML Light Industrial/Proposed Zoning Designation: No change
  • Laurel-DeRose (GPA-13-02) is a 6.82-acre parcel located on the north side of Laurel Road, east of Walnut Grove Drive. (APN 726-01-008). Existing General Plan Designation: Commercial/Proposed General Plan Designation: Multi-Family Low (5-14 du/ac). Existing Zoning Designation: Planned Development, R2 Medium-Density Residential (3,500)/Proposed Zoning Designation: R-2 Medium-Density Residential (3,500).
  • Laurel-Honda (GPA-14-01) is a 4.64-acre parcel located on the north side of the terminus of Laurel Road, east of Walnut Grove Drive. (APN 726-01-007)/ This GPA includes two alternative alignments for the Walnut Grove extension between Dunne Avenue and Diana Avenue. Existing General Plan Designation: Multi-Family Low (5-14 du/ac)/Proposed General Plan Designation: Commercial. Existing Zoning Designation: Planned Development, R2 Medium-Density Residential (3,500)/Proposed Zoning Designation: No change.
  • Monterey-KB Home (GPA-14-03) is a 4.37-acre parcel located on the east side of Monterey Road immediately north of Central High School. (APN 726-25-004). Existing General Plan Designation: Non-Retail Commercial/Proposed General Plan Designation: Multi-Family Low (5-14 du/ac). Existing Zoning Designation: Light Commercial/Residential (CL/R)/Proposed Zoning Designation: No change.
