On May 19, 2021, the City Council approved the Downtown Monterey Road Traffic Calming and Beautification design project and directed staff to design a Lane Reduction Project that improves accessibility, increases safety, and creates additional space for community members and businesses. The design recommendations that will be brought to the City Council on November 3, 2021, will include feedback from the community gained through a variety of community workshops and recommendations from the working group.
As part of the review process, the City recruited a working group of business and community members to participate in three virtual meetings and provide feedback to staff on the project design options. If you have questions about the working group, please e-mail Hilary.Holeman@morganhill.ca.gov. Meeting specifics are provided to members of the working group.
