Description:
The City of Morgan Hill seeks proposals from experienced, licensed private security companies to provide uniformed, unarmed security officer services for private rental events at the Community and Cultural Center located at 17000 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill or at other City events as described below. The City shall contract directly with the security company for these services.

Special Event and Banquet Security: Provide security services for the City at selected special events and banquets occurring at the Community and Cultural Center or other locations designated by the City. Responsibilities include:
1. Supply the requested number of security officers for special events to provide customer service and a visible presence at the event.
2. Security officer(s) will arrive at the designated time and check in with the City Building Coordinator or designated City staff to be briefed on the nature of the event and any special instructions.
3. Work in coordination with on-site City Building Coordinator or designated City staff to maintain general order and ensure City policies and procedures are enforced.
4. Ensure that room capacities for events are not exceeded.
5. Ensure event personnel at bar area are over the age of 21, not under the influence, and are following the California legal drinking age. 
6. Ensure only guests over the California legal drinking age are consuming alcohol. 
7. Periodically patrol the Community Center parking lot and grounds during events.
8. Contact the Police Department or emergency services in the event of a disturbance, breach of the peace, or other emergency.
9. Ensure that the Community Center or other City facilities are secure and locked after special events have ended. 
10. Ensure all guests and visitors have exited the facility and walk the City employee to his or her car after the event, as needed.
