Greg Sellers was elected to his third term on the city council in November, 2006. He is 45 years old and is married to Suzi, a popular Morgan Hill fitness instructor. They have four children, Tristan, Aubrey, Bevin and Lachlan.

Greg grew up in Morgan Hill, attending P.A. Walsh Elementary, Burnett Middle School, and Live Oak High School, where he served as school board representative and was a member of the two-time national champion Emerald Regime Marching Band.

After graduating from Live Oak, Greg went on to the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in American studies. He recently completed his Master in Public Policy from the Panetta Institute at California State University, Monterey Bay.

Greg moved to San Francisco to start his career, but returned to Morgan Hill 17 years ago to serve as Executive Director of the Morgan Hill Downtown Revitalization Program. He is a consultant for public sector clients, specializing in economic development and related policy matters. He started his own firm 8 years ago, and currently has an office in downtown Morgan Hill.

As a City Council member, Greg has worked to increase housing opportunities while maintaining Morgan Hill's unique rural character. Greg led the formation of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation, and serves as the Council representative to the Morgan Hill Downtown Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.
