Formed through combination of Morgan Hill Toros and Gilroy
Blazers soccer clubs. Decision making body is the ORYSC
Board of Directors. Meet at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Tennant
Station on 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30pm. Facilities
used include community fields, school fields, Morgan Hill
Soccer Complex.
April - June; September - November (Ages 4-18)
Need: additional field space and maintenance assistance.

Promotes advanced-skill tournament softball for girls 8-18.
Traveling summer teams. Also, spring and fall ball. Began
in 1988; has a board of Directors which meet on the 2nd
Wed. Of each month at 7:30pm at St. Louise Hospital Conference
Room (subject to change). Facilities used at the San Martin
Fields in San Martin School and Live Oak Fields.
Needs: Centralized fully services sports facility for practice,
games and tournaments. Similar to soccer complex; e.g.;
Community Park renovation

Second oldest swim club in the Santa Clara Valley. Began
in 1962 and joined the Coast Valley Aquatic League in January
1997. Board of Directors meet the first Tuesday of each
month at St. Louise Hospital at 7:30p.m. The club fosters
young swimmers' development and sense of personal achievement
through competitive swimming. The club provides excellent
coaching for all swimmers, regardless of age and ability,
to reach their individual aquatic goals in an environment
of friendship, fun, focus, and team spirit.
Open to all swimmers aged 5 through 18 who can swim one
pool length of 25 yards without stopping. Learn-to-swim
clinics are taught in Spring and Summer. Meet at Live Oak
High School, Britton Middle School and Lynbrook swimming
pools.

Live Oak Athletic Boosters sponsor a summer sports program
at Live Oak High School. Coached by Live Oak Coaching staff
and selected student athletes. Camps include all sports
as well as speciality: baseball, basketball, volleyball,
softball, field hockey, wrestling, soccer, tennis, water
polo, street hockey, and football. Introduced this year
was science camp.
Camps are for children ages 6-17.

Started in April 1996 as a participant in the Vision of
Morgan Hill. As a result of this participation, submitted
a proposal for a Youth Sport Complex to the RDA in September
1996. This evolved into the introduction of the concept
for a non-profit organization to act as an umbrella for
youth sports in February 1977. The Morgan Hill Youth Sports
Alliance received non-profit status on July 3, 1997.

Improve Sports Fields and Facilities
Assist in Fundraising Activities
Mission Statement: The purpose of the Morgan Hill Youth
Sports Alliance is to provide funding, maintenance, and
operations management for sport facilities and activities
for youth, adults and families in Morgan Hill and the surrounding
South Valley Community.
Meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the
Commonwealth Credit Union Community Meeting Room at 7:00pm.
