Driving Directions to City Facilities

Civic Center – The Civic Center site, located on Peak Avenue between Main Street and Dunne Avenue, includes both City Hall and the Morgan Hill Library. A new 28,000 square foot library, to be sited west of City Hall, is in the final stages of construction and expected to open in late Summer 2007. It will replace the current library which was built in 1973 and was designed to serve a population of 8,000.

Centennial Recreation Center  – Designed with families, youth and seniors in mind, the Centennial Recreation Center is located adjacent to Community Park on Edmundson Avenue. Opened in October 2006, the 52,000 square foot facility includes an indoor pool, locker rooms, a gymnasium, fitness rooms, and many other amenities. Youth and senior wings with lounging and social spaces are available free of charge, with recreational activities available for a fee. CRC Website. CRC Website

Morgan Hill Aquatics Center This exciting new Center, located at 16200 Condit road opened on June 12, 2004. It brings long sought after relief to the many Morgan Hill swimmers and water lovers that who have been traveling to distant facilities or coping with overcrowded local facilities for many years. Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center Opened in 2002, the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, located at 17000 Monterey Road, has been described as the "crown jewel" of the South County." This wonderful facility has an array of rooms and amenities that make it the perfect place for any event. Visit the Center’s Website

Police Station Police officers and dispatchers have been crowded into an old, cramped police station for many years. The City purchased a new building for the Police Department and had the building modified for the Police Department. The new facility offers increased safety for the public, enhanced parking, and better working conditions for Police Department employees. The Morgan Hill Police Facility new facility is located at 16200 Vineyard Blvd. just north of Tennant Ave. It opened July 2004, replacing a crowded station downtown.

Public Works Department/Corporation Yard - The Public Works Department and Corporation Yard is located at 100 Edes Court.

Outdoor Sports Center - Morgan Hill youth and adults play on a variety of softball, baseball, and soccer teams. Because of the high levels of participation in these activities, outdoor sports fields are in short supply in the Morgan Hill area. Phase I of the Outdoor Sports Center located at 16500 Condit Road will include two new synthetic fields with lighting is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in November 2007. At full build out, the new Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, will feature a variety of new fields including baseball, football, soccer and softball to meet Morgan Hill's needs. The City is accepting resident, non-profit youth organization field requests at this time for the 2008 calendar year.
