The Senior Advisory Committee meets monthly on the first
Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers
in City Hall to address issues pertaining to older adults
within the community, including the Senior Center. The Senior
Advisory Committee advises the Parks and Recreation Commission
on the delivery of services and will be addressing the issue
of building a new senior center and its programming.
The seven members serve two years and are appointed by the
Parks and Recreation Commission. They are the liaison to the
YMCA Senior Center programming funded by the City and operated
by the YMCA.
