The Police Department is currently approved for thirty-nine sworn officer positions, six paid reserve police officer positions, and 25 non-sworn support positions. Staff are assigned to one of three divisions: Field Operations, Special Operations, or Support Services. The Department also boasts an award-winning Police Explorer Program for the youth of Morgan Hill. In addition to paid positions, various opportunities exist for community volunteers and student interns to play an active role in supporting public safety efforts.
