The Santa Clara Valley Water District (District) proposes to design and construct the Coyote Warehouse Project (the Project) on a parcel solely owned by the District that is adjacent to a parcel owned by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), which includes the Coyote Pumping Plant. The Project would consolidate and provide dedicated indoor and outdoor storage for District materials. The Project would involve the new construction of an approximately 32-foot-high and 21,600-square-foot metal framed warehouse building.
Per Section 65962.5 of the Government Code, within the project vicinity there is no hazardous waste facilities subject to corrective action pursuant to Section 25187.5 of the Health and Safety Code or land designated as hazardous waste property.
The Draft MND may be available for public review from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the District Headquarters Building (5700 Almaden Expressway, San Jose, CA 95118). A copy of the Draft MND may also be available at the City of Morgan Hill Planning Division located at 17575 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill, and the Morgan Hill Public Library reference desk at 660 West Main Avenue, Morgan Hill.

City of Morgan Hill Review
The City of Morgan Hill will consider the Coyote Warehouse Project filed under Conditional Use Permit application UP2016-0017 and Site and Architectural Review application SR2016-0018 on file with the City of Morgan Hill Planning Division. The project is located easterly of Peet Road between Half Road and Mission Avenida.
