Due to COVID-19 and the current guidelines from Santa Clara County and the State of California, events may be canceled or postponed. Please check with event organizers for further details.

  • Morgan Hill Farmers Market  - Ongoing 
    This event takes place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CalTrain Station parking lot at 3rd Street and Depot Street in downtown Morgan Hill. The parking lot is closed for the event, there is not an additional road closure.

  • National Night Out & Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social - Tuesday, August 3, 2021
    This event takes place on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Depot Street between 2nd and 3rd, including the Train Depot Parking Lot. The parking lot and roadway will be closed to traffic for the event. The closure will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. 2nd and 3rd Street will remain open during the event.
  • Sidewalk Saturdays - October 2, 2021 - December 4, 2021
    This event takes place Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on East 3rd Street in downtown Morgan Hill. Dates include October 2, 2021 - December 4, 2021. There are no road closures for this activity.

2021 Past Downtown Events with Road Closures

  • Sidewalk Saturdays - May 8, 2021 - July 3, 2021
    This event takes place Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on East 3rd Street in downtown Morgan Hill. Dates include May 8, 2021 - July 3, 2021. There are no road closures for this activity.
  • Morgan Hill Freedom Fest - July 3, 2021, and July 4, 2021
    • The annual Morgan Hill Freedom Fest events are currently being planned for Saturday, July 3, 2021, and Sunday, July 4, 2021. 
    • Saturday, July 3rd, beginning at noon: Monterey between Dunne and Main, including partial side streets of 1st-5th on the East and West side of Monterey Road. This road closure will remain in place until approximately 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
    • Saturday, July 3, 2021, beginning at midnight: Monterey between West Central Avenue and Dunne Avenue, Main Avenue to Peak Avenue, Peak Avenue to West Dunne Avenue, West Dunne Avenue to Monterey Road. Keystone Avenue, Del Monte Avenue South of Main Avenue to West Dunne Avenue will also be closed to traffic. This road closure will remain in place until approximately 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
    • Sunday, July 4, 2021, beginning at noon: Northbound Condit Road, closed at the Aquatics Center. This closure will remain in place until 11:30 p.m.
    • Sunday, July 4, 2021, beginning at 9:00 p.m.: Condit Road from Dunne to Tennant, Murphy Avenue closed between Barrett and Dunne, and Barrett Avenue closed from Hill to Condit. These closures will remain in place until approximately 11:30 p.m.
