2020 Upcoming Downtown Events with Road Closures

Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic and the current Santa Clara County Shelter in Place order, events may be canceled or postponed. Please check with event organizers for further details. 

  • Morgan Hill Farmers Market  - Ongoing 
    • This event takes place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CalTrain Station parking lot at 3rd Street and Depot Street in downtown Morgan Hill. The parking lot is closed for the event, there is not an additional road closure. 
    • There will not be a Farmers Market on Saturday, July 4th due to the Freedom Fest events taking place in downtown Morgan Hill. 
  • Morgan Hill Downtown Association Wine Stroll (Plaza Use) - Postponed
    • This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020, in downtown Morgan Hill. There is no road closure for this event. However, the event will be utilizing the Plaza out front of the Parking Structure in Downtown on East Third. For event details, please visit the Morgan Hill Downtown Association website.
  • Mushroom Mardi Gras - Canceled
    • The 2020 Mushroom Mardi Gras is scheduled for May 23-24, 2020.
    • Setup and road closures will begin on Friday, May 22nd at 5:00 p.m. Road closures include Depot Street between Main Avenue and Dunne Avenue, and the side streets of East 2nd, East 3rd, East 4th, and East 5th. Monterey Road will remain open. 
    • Access to the parking structure will be available from Monterey Road. 
    • A portion of the upper floor of the parking structure will be utilized for permitted resident parking. 
    • Residents of East 1st, East 2nd, East 3rd streets will have vehicle access to their homes during event hours, from Monterey Road. Proof of residency will be required to gain access through the road closure. 
    • 70,000 participants are expected over the weekend.
