  • Chaplain ProgramThe Morgan Hill Police Department’s Chaplains are the “emotional and spiritual E.M.T” for every member of the police department family and the community we serve.

  • Community Police AcademyThe Community Police Academy (CPA) provides community members with an up close and personal look at police work and the Morgan Hill Police Department. The Academy does not train citizens to be future police officers. It is designed to inform citizens about Police Department policies and procedures, foster community support, and provide safety awareness, by allowing community members to participate in practical police training and education.

  • Police Explorer ProgramThe Morgan Hill Police Department's Explorer Program provides youth between the ages of 14 to 21 the opportunity to gain first hand experience and knowledge of the law enforcement profession. 

  • Vacation Home Check Patrol Program - The Morgan Hill Police Department is pleased offer home patrol-checks for our citizens to help reduce the incidence of burglary and other residential crimes when the homeowners are away on vacation.

  • Volunteers in PolicingThe City of Morgan Hill enhances Police Department services by sponsoring a Volunteers in Policing (VIP) program. The VIPs function as an auxiliary unit of the Police Department, with no powers of arrest beyond those of any private citizen. VIPs are utilized for crime prevention programs and various community services.

  • South County Youth Diversion Program - The Diversion Program Team is a collaborative group consisting of several agencies in South County including law enforcement departments, local community-based organizations, and the local school districts.
