This page is intended to provide updates on the development of pickleball courts in Morgan Hill. The City recognizes the need for dedicated pickleball courts within the City and has outlined a phased process to review the need and create the space for pickleball courts.
Community Park Pickleball Shared Courts The current basketball courts shall be restriped to share space with pickleball courts. Pickleball courts are available seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. From 2 p.m. until sunset the court is scheduled for basketball use. The courts may be closed for Parks and Recreation classes and or other City activities. Notice will be provided on the courts ahead of closures. For more information on the courts, visit our Pickleball website.
Future Permanent Pickleball Courts The first step is for trial temporary courts to share space with the basketball courts at Community Park. The second phase would be to identify locations in current park spaces that could house new courts. If successful for the first two phases the City may look to construct more courts in a new park space. The City is currently working on the second phase of this planning.
