2. Safety Commitment and Pledge
   As a member of this community, I am committed to furthering my education on bicycling and pedestrian safety. I pledge to require my children to wear a helmet every time they ride a bicycle (or any other recreational device), and will encourage my family, friends and/or neighbors to do the same while taking all other safety precautions. Furthermore, I will practice this pledge personally, and will always wear a helmet while biking, or operating any other recreational / transportation device, and help set an example within the community.
