I moved to Morgan Hill in 1985 from Almaden in San Jose and never looked back. Morgan Hill is one of those golden nuggets just south of Silicon Valley where I worked for companies like IBM, Micro Focus, and Veritas Software to name a few. Early in 2000, I started my own credit card processing business which led me to get involved with and understand businesses and their needs in a unique way. After about 5 years I joined a major Bay Area bank as their VP of Business Banking, a position I treasured. During those years I took and graduated from Leadership Morgan Hill, a fabulous program that led me to volunteering on the 4th of July Committee for over 10 years in the area of sponsorship and program. In 2014, I was asked to run for School Board Trustee and served in that position for 4 years with many accomplishments for the students and parents of MHUSD.
I have three adult children Scott, Lee, and Lisa. I have three grandchildren one of which lives in Morgan Hill and goes to Sobrato High School. I’ve been married for over 50 years to Clair and we got married in New York where we were both born and raised. I moved out to California in 1976 with IBM and held many different positions within the company.
